Guys, I am sure we need to have video of our sessions.
How can we do it?
Does anyone have powerfull comp to film it?
I would be able to make a clip or even DAM trailer sometime, but my comp is too weak to capture i believe

Sasha can you tell me your PC specs? because if your pc is really what you are saying(mine too  ) then i think that FRAPS will kill it.I know that frames are dropping like hell when recording even with beast machines.But we really need some footage man  |

My comp is a small notebook - or rather just netbook idk for sure.
It can manage OA demo (but i play at lowest graphics), and it can load Arma Free, but it cant manage Arma Free gaming - too weak.
But I have good internet speed (cable), so 32ppl TVT is fine, almost no lags.

Normally I would say, yes, my PC can make that ( 4x2.83 Ghz and high end graphics) BUT at moment it really sucks for reason I haven't found yet...means my comp is extremely slowed down -.-  Till I haven't find the source of that, I think I can't do it as well. But maybe just give me some programs and I'll try. |

I tried fraps and I have got only free version ( 30 sec video) and with no sound My pc is not weak ( 2x3 GHz) but graphics isn'zt a highend piece... Video is not smooth, about 25 fps |

I really want to get a nice computer so I can make an awesome vid with high graphics. I'm on 2.3ghz, 4gig ram, stock graphics card (laptop) and I have to play on low graphics for smooth play.
At times, I've used fraps and gameplay would either be manageable or not, depending on pings. But I plan to get a new one before Arma 3 comes out.

I could make a video showcasing DAM team using xFire, they've updated it a lot recently and I think the lowest fps I've gotten from using it was 30 something and that was in a server (ArmA) with like 66 players and tanks and helis and all that stuff...I think I can make a video of one of our sessions like the one we had today
