Summary of the last days in Dayz Epoch: Horrible, horrible...with a touch of success.
I got killed while I was busy looting the crate from a supply drop mission. This guy took everything from the mission and from my body and hide it, except the keys for the ATV I used to drive to the AO. He pretended to be playing together with some guys who were not online, as he said - which was a lie!
After I respawned and moved 6km on foot back to the AO - which was completely looted of course and no dangerous area any more - and to get the key back, I moved back to our base at Devil's Castle...I stored some stuff that I found on my way to the "key position" and moved out to kill some zombies - with crossbow and double barrelled shotgun
I "gained" my hero status back and wanted to log out, when I heard the noise of a little bird approaching to our base.
I quickly grabbed an M14 from our safe and moved to the roof...What I found there was: A little bird with 3 guys in there checking out our chopper on the roof and attempting to disembark.
I didn't wait for anything, but emptied 1 mag of M14 into the cockpit. Result was 2 dead bodies "raining" from the chopper flying 5m above in my front
Those guys were the friends of that guy who killed me at the mission. I emptied the 2nd mag on the pilot trying to flee from the position. That fucked up his chopper. Unfortunately he survived, because he jumped out and parachuted to the ground - too far for good aim with an M14 AIM in the night :/
I could loot one of the dead bodies before server restart and good my stuff back that I lost at the mission plus some extra guns like 2x M14
Little story between: Flow and sold successfully 2 old double wing aircrafts - AN2 and 1 C130. Crashed 1 double wing aircraft and one C-130 ;D The spawn positions are random, so they spawn on "open" fields all over the map. Unfortunately those fields are to 90% not flat or free of bushes and trees o.O
Moreover we sold 2x Mi-17 and 1x little bird plus 1 UH-1
Today was "action packed" as well:
I invited a German guy to our little DayZ faction and we were busy at our base, when Pavel got shot outside, while doors were open and the new guy and me were inside base and upstairs. The showdown was on the basement chamber of the castle...M 14 vs. M14...blind fire from 10m
I died and the attacker - "cokè" a German guy tending to camp at our base, but before he had no clue we have two bases - died as well.
Problem solved and our new member managed to save most of the stuff before server restart.
Another things in the end:
- Stairs are dangerous - Pavel^^
- Close doors - it's NEVER safe!
- Don't trust anyone you never met before and saying and showing that he's friendly and even then don't trust him to 100% before he didn't show his qualities
- NV goggles are for pussies! ;D
- 3 ppl is better than just 2
- Don't lie, but don't tell the full truth if you don't need to - in game(!)
