- You'll find most of the sounds or whatever on Youtube...so simply download them with this programm: DVDVideoSoft It's a free program, that allows you to download a video or just the sound/music from youtube. So it converts it to mp3 if you want.
- After that, you have convert the file to *.ogg*. You can convert it with DVDVideoSoft as well.
- Then start this program (the basic version is for free): Acoustica 5 Basic or any other program you want to cut the sound/music with. With that program you can cut the sound so you get the part of the song, sound etc. you want to have and it has the right size (2-4 secs., depends on the size of the sound...just a voice will allow you to play it longer, parts with music and bass etc. have to be very short.)
- Max. file size is 50Kb (yes, Vig...for me it works with 50Kb not with just 40Kb
). - Now you should have a very short sound file.
- Move now to:
- WinXP: "...My Documents\ArmA 2\Sound"
- Vista & 7: "C:Users\UserName\Documents\ArmA 2\Sound
You'll have to add the folder called "Sound"
Then drop in that folder your sound files (max. 10!)
Start the game, start a mission, press 0-9 and select one of the possible 10 sounds with pressing the number of the sound you want to play (Note: ArmA will put them automatically in alphabetic order)
