Two questions
I have got Arma OA full, can anyone tell me what patches and mods I need to play with you in there?
And I need help with graphics settings. In OA full I have some graphics lag when moving. The image freeses and after I run few steps it jumps to new, refreshes (same when moving in vehicles). So the movement is not smooth, it is laggy - even without any hosting, in editor preview. Even in normal video settings
I have now i7 processor and Nvidia Ti Boost video card, and I expected much better performance. Drivers and directX all installed, latest versions

Nice one Sasha! About mods this thread: damteam.proboards.com/thread/392/arma-2-modsLatest patches are best, I also recommend the latest beta patch. For easy loading of patches and mods I recommend playWithSix (Check your left under mediafire)

u got oa full, sounds good. what arma 2 u have? arma 2 full or free? I remember u have this problem since installed arma 2 free, did u try to reinstall it? how much u have ram? arma series have some kind problem with new hardware's, example, if something went wrong , arma can't calculate more then 512 mb ram (vram) on ur graphic card. so in ur game setting set ur video memory on very high, close antialiasing, close vsynch. and best advise for ur problem is tak a look to here: forums.bistudio.com/forumdisplay.php?83-ARMA-2-amp-OA-TROUBLESHOOTING

Is that GeForce video card? Since GeForce has a program named GeForce experience which has recommended graphic settings.
And sometimes raising video settings may help, because then Arma uses more GPU than CPU

Concerning Video memory settings: "Set "Video Memory" in graphical options to "Default". If you have 512 MB of VRAM, set it to "Very High" (Very High utilizes 512 MB of VRAM. Default allows for higher VRAMs to be utilized)." Following this here: RockPaperShotgun website...and some guides in youtube And about patches/updates: Patches/UpdatesCheck this here and just look for the oldest one and start with that, then the next and the next (eg. 1.60, 1.61, then 1.62 etc.) and you are on a save way and secure of missing anything.

Thanks guys
I have 8gb ram so there should not be any problem, but it still is there. Geforce Experience is here but it offers some parameters which didnt kill lag
I set memory to default and made 3d resolution and screen to 1920x1080 which is my monitor. I also reduced head movement. It all helped a bit, but still small lag is there.
Could it be that the lag is due to monitor. It says it has 60fps, can i put higher/lower figure in arma2oa config file - is it ok do do so?
Can it help if i change also these parameters in config file?
FSAA=0; postFX=0; GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=2;
PS - I have windows 7 64bit

you can't get more then 60 FPS btw, more is for 3D monitor supporter, my system: cpu quad 4 core 2600 MHz gtx 460 1 gig memory ram 4 gig monitor LG 21' 1920 X 1080
about this GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=3; as u can see, mine is 3, but for u is 2, change this maybe effective.

Hi Sasha... This is what I've done and I believe it is the best all rounder if you do not mind sacrificing the graphics (with some units) Drag your Arma 2 free into your Arma 2 OA install folder. (See my youtube video posted a few weeks ago) This will give you combined operations and you will be able to patch CO patches and also be able to play across all the islands as well as install and CO mods you wish to have. Perhaps you have already done this but just my two cents. You will still have all the OA full graphics but you will have Arma 2 free graphics with A2f units... so you're getting CO lite but on the plus side you can do everything fully as you would in CO full except that you don't have a single player campaign. Mo also has a cool post somewhere around here where he put up all his settings. Also looking to better my performance a little. Hate it when the game slows down like that... Let me know how it goes.
