MSO - Multi Session Operations.
You can build a convoy/patrol and just move to set up a FOB (buy using the all the nice "crafting" stuff like sandbacks, static defences, bunkers etc.) or without the FOB and just move to a city and...
...you might hit enemy infantry patrols, find a tank on the road waiting for you, or you discover an enemy outpost/checkpoint/camp on your way through the map. So in basic it's really realistic, due to the scenario is very random and you never now what you'll spot next.
That also means that you probably wont have contact for 30 mins, but that is the "plus of realism" if you compare it to Insurgency where you have almost permanent contact or Patrol ops, where you almost just find enemies at the concrete OA.
You can go for trying to capture the whole map, but beware: The enemy can and will take back the sectors you've take few mins before.
Tested MSO today and seems pretty fine although enemies were not as many as you see in Insurgency, but that depends on the parameters you set.
And parameters is the key of this, because they are tons of them giving you the possibility to change and set almost everything.
Another nice feature is that Patrol Ops 2 is embedded into this so that you can enable Patrol Ops tasks by the parameters as well and call for task via radio. That means you can go for "real" patrols without a concrete target except clear area and check out what's going on out of your base, set maybe an checkpoint or FOB up or you select a Patrol Ops task where you have a specific task that you can go for.
I recommend to read this here: www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=13336
Moreover for those guys who think of hosting it, they should watch this, because it's giving the basic info about the mass of parameters and what they are good for:
Another nice thing is the Players' Guide over here (just 13 small pages of PDF): dev.withsix.com/documents/56
Although it was running quite good, I have some ideas/request for the mission. It's concerning editing.
For editing there is a manual as well: dev.withsix.com/documents/57

- Add some more patrol vehicles like the Dingo A2A from AMT mod or Stryker (beside the MHQ/HQ)
- Add other BLUFOR faction, like German Army or US special forces (but that probably needs another/new base)
- The 2. idea brings me to the idea of either enlarge the bases in Feruz Abad and Jilavur so we get more place for more vehicles and stuff or to create a new base
- Have to check if the respawn time of the vehicles can be modified by parameters, if not, this would need a fix
- Same for the teleport to MHQ/HQ after you signed it
