Intrest for Air vs Air mission

Is there any interest of playing Air vs Air missions for Demo? addWeapon has rise to the oppurtunity to add jets and gunships to demo.

A massive fun air battle is a nice idea to add some relaxed and joyful "break" between "standard" missions/maps.
2 groups starting from opposite parts of the map and "meet" each other in an "air battle area" on the map.
The sound of Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" is in my head

Air to air battles is not fun for gunships. We need simple weapons - just like vanilla A6 but with 50 cal instead of minigun.

Fun is when weapons are crappy and fighting takes some dramatic time like WWI dogfights

I have to disagree...
Most of us aren't pilots. Getting killing one noob with a lilbird minigun is hard enough.... killing them with lilbird 50 cal will just frustrate people. Well, most of us anyway. And when good pilots go against noob pilots, noobs won't stand a chance....so there's no challenge for good pilots

Who says that there are Air-to-Air-rockets needed?
Why not make it relatively simple and copy the "flying fortress" (maybe with some modifications) into this mission as "mother ship" guarded by standard little birds (minigun and hydras). Task would be to destroy the mother ship of the opposite team to win this.

Mother ship idea is what I have in mind.

I've just checked out MO's flying fortress, and its a beast.
