I make it short and simple:
If you've still ArmA II CO on your computer and it's up-to-date (version 1.63) and Play WithSix is running as well, then you should think of giving it a last try of "revive".
I gonna try to set up a server for the newest UNSUNG mod (if possible this weekend).
I got large EVO maps for it already and I can run it. Of course I have no clue about the following issues:
- What the performance will be (that might be a fixable problem, since adjustment of parameters and different size of map is selectable and of course it depends on the numbers of players)
- If you can find & join my server at all
Another thing that is a benefit of this little "expedition", is that you won't need many mods (I can see Mr. Mjac rubbing his cat over the screen and the keyboard by hearing this news
); in fact you need just this:
- Newest UNSUNG mod - Version 2.6 (4,7 GB size on Play WithSix)
- CBA_CO
- ACR (Lite)
...no ACE, ACRE and other stuff needed.
If you want to give it a try, let me know it.
Would be great if someone (thinking of Dan) could get in contact with me and give it a little "test try" to see if it's possible to find, join and play on my server.
